Through a forest of snow

it lasted for a moment

but felt like forever

your cry cut short, i was your protector

it came upon a rainy night

one which shall not be forgotten

where i shared a kiss of a beginning

oh how i remember my fright

a relationship is serious

nothing to joke

when you choose someone

you do not want it to be some random dope

there is one major thing

a heart not shared with someone before,

yet, you chose me

each glimpse of your beauty, takes my breath away

your face has a luster that even puts gold to shame

never has a feeling this great been put upon me

until 5 months before today

and now it is known that it will truly stay

i want to defy all odds

there are times i have faltered

and seemed oblivious to the fact

it really is just quite that

having someone so close to you

and then they’re pulled away

i really didn’t know what to do with myself

for three months, each and everyday

out on our own island
